The Hotel Balldains Caen is a basic modern hotel located just outside the town centre of Caen and five kilometres from the beaches of the D Day Landings. The 50 guestrooms are spread over two stories and have a simple light decor. All include satellite television, direct dial phones with wake up calls, desks, full length mirrors and private bathrooms with showers.
Although there is no restaurant on site, the hotel offers a buffet breakfast in the morning (5 EUR surcharge).
