The Serragolf Hotel is a listed building with 1920s architecture, surrounded by dense woodland that is part of the Laurissilva forest, six kilometres from the Santa Cruz sea coast. The beach and yacht club is located six kilometres from the hotel, on the coast. Day trips can be organized to Funchal City, which offers some great shopping and sightseeing. Madeira International Airport is six kilometres from the hotel.
