The Duomo Hotel is a Ron Arad designed conceptual hotel located in the centre of historic Rimini, just one kilometre from the golden sandy beach. This four storey property features 43 guestrooms, all of which feature futuristic design, and bathroom pods with teak slatted timber floors furnished by Alessi. All rooms have desks with wireless Internet access, LCD flat screen televisions with satellite channels and pay movies, direct dial phones, complimentary newspapers and light dimmers.
The NoMi Club is a Ron Arad designed restaurant and bar constructed in the shape of an island with fjord like dining coves of stainless steel. It serves a broad array of Italian wines and regional and international cuisine, and the atmosphere is enlivened by well known local DJs in the evenings. In the summertime three glass roller shutters open up, providing access to a street terrace. The focal point of the lobby is the space age reception desk, a stainless steel ring leaning on a column, with a series of aluminium rings embedded in the wall behind allowing daylight in and creating an unusual optical effect. Guests can relax with a drink in the bar, enjoy discounted access to a nearby fitness centre, or order snacks from room service. The meeting room provides facilities for conferences and seminars, while other practical amenities include wireless Internet access throughout the hotel and valet parking for a surcharge. The old town, with its boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and museums is in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, and there are beaches only a kilometre away. Federico Fellini International Airport is 15 minutes by car, 15 kilometres (nine miles) from the hotel.
