Hotel Top Amaika is a large modern hotel with an ornate Titanic inspired interior and located just one block from the sandy beach, and one kilometre from Calella train station. The 228 air conditioned guestrooms have light, modern d�cor with coordinated fabrics. All open up furnished balconies and amenities include satellite television, minibars, direct dial telephones, hair dryers and safes. Half board and All Inclusive room rates are offered.
An extensive buffet of traditional Catalan dishes as well as European favourites is served for breakfast lunch and dinner in the informal hotel restaurant. The hotel has two swimming pools, including a childrens pool. Guests can relax with a drink at the poolside bar, or unwind in the sauna, spa tub and fitness room. The kids club keeps younger guests (ages 4 to 12) entertained and the hotel offers an extensive programme of daytime activities and evening entertainment, including live music and cabaret shows. Guests can take a free shuttle bus to any of the other hotels in the group; the bus runs three times a day between the properties. Guests have free access to all the H.Top hotels, bars, restaurants and services along the coast from Canella to Lloret de Mar, with activities offered ranging from archery, and rifle shooting to water polo and scuba diving. There is health club, free of use to guests, at the Royal Star hotel in Lloret de Mar (20 kilometres away), with a gym, heated indoor pool, hot tub, plunge pool, sauna and Turkish baths. Guests can spend lazy days on the beach 100 metres away, explore the town of Calella, or head further afield and visit the Dali Museum in Figueres, 100 kilometres away, or the city of Barcelona with its excellent shops, restaurants, museums and Gaudi architecture. Girona Airport is 40 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes by car, and Barcelona Airport is 74 kilometres, approximately 50 minutes by car.
