The Hotel Top Planamar is a resort hotel with modern white facade, located 50 metres from the sandy beach on the Costa Maresme, 150 metres from Malgrat de Mar train station, 300 metres from the town centre. The 156 guestrooms have simple decor with balconies or terraces with views of the sea, wood furniture including coffee table, chairs and desk, and patterned fabrics. All have bathrooms and include air conditioning, satellite television and safes. All Inclusive and Half Board room rates are offered.
Typical Spanish and Catalan dishes are available alongside international favourites at the hotel restaurant, which serves buffet style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool surrounded by sun beds, parasols and palm trees, and for younger guests there is a childrens pool and playground. There is also a solarium for those who want to top up their tans. The entertainment team organises activities and sports as well as cabarets and shows in the evenings. Multilingual staff on the 24 hour front desk can assist with suggesting tourist attractions around the area, as well as arranging transport. Guests can make use of facilities at all other H.Top hotels in the area free of charge; a free shuttle bus runs three times a day providing transport between the properties. The nearby beach offers plenty of opportunities for swimming and water sports including parasailing, jet skiing and wind surfing. Guests can take the free shuttle bus to the hotels sister properties and enjoy activities ranging from archery, and rifle shooting to water polo and scuba diving. There is health club, free of use to guests, at the Royal Star hotel in Lloret de Mar (eight kilometres away) with a gym, heated indoor pool, hot tub, plunge pool, sauna and Turkish baths. For golfers, special rates are available at the PGA Catalunya golf course. There are many attractions in the area including the lively resort of Lloret de Mar, eight kilometres from the hotel, and the pretty beaches of Tossa de Mar are 18 kilometres away. All Inclusive plan The All Inclusive rate includes the following: room accommodations, breakfast, lunch and dinner in the buffet restaurant; all local alcoholic beers, wines and spirits and soft drinks, tea and coffee from 10 AM until midnight; snacks including burgers and salads until midnight and ice cream for children from 8 AM until 6 PM; evening shows and daytime activities; kids mini club (4 12 years); two excursions: a night at the Medieval Castle including dinner, and a flamenco show at the Gran Palace (mandatory bus fares apply); free shuttle bus to all the other hotels in the group and use of all facilities at these properties.
