A grandiose country estate dating back to 1764, the Steigenberger Grandhotel Petersberg is set in the woodland of the Siebengebirge National Park overlooking the Rhine River, 20 kilometres from the city of Bonn. Formerly the German Federal State Residence, the hotel has in the past hosted international heads of state including Queen Elizabeth II and former US president Bill Clinton.
