From Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL):

Getting there. Taxis are available at the airport. There is an airport bus that goes to the underground station Kurt Schumacher Platz and connects to central Friedrichstrasse. The x9 service on the southwest U7 line runs to Jakob Kaiser Platz with a connection to Charlottenburg. For trains take the no 109 bus or the x9 service past Jakob Kaiser Platz to Station Zoo or the 128 service which goes north of the city. Alternatively there is an express shuttle from the airport to central Berlin, including Unter den Linden and Reichstag which takes approximately 20 30 minutes.

Getting around. The BVG, Berlins integrated public transport system is the best way to get around the city. One ticket can be used on all trams, trains, ferries and busses.
