Location. Playa Los Arcos is a beachfront hotel located in beautiful Puerto Vallarta. One of Mexicos most popular vacation destinations, Vallarta is a modern city built around a colonial Mexican village. Flanked by the Sierra Madre jungle, the citys attractions include a boardwalk, ideal for sunset and moonlit walks and Los Arcos National Park, a prime location for snorkeling and scuba diving among giant offshore rocks and arches. Area activities include diving, snorkeling, fishing, golfing and horseback riding. Bay cruises are available, as are whale and dolphin watching excursions. Shops in town offer everything from original clothing designs to fine art and jewelry. The city also boasts a hopping nightlife and plenty of great restaurants.
Hotel Features. The resort offers a number of modern amenities, including a jetted tub with ocean views, tour and recreation assistance and three connected pools. Guests have access to spa services and a private beach. The multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk offer concierge, translation, dry cleaning and currency exchange services. Conference space with audio visual equipment is available and the resort features supervised childrens activities. Two restaurants are located on the property, Maximilian which serves European cuisine and Los Arcos del Mar Restaurant, where they serve Mexican and International cuisine both indoor and on an ocean view terrace. Tlaloc Palapa Bar serves drinks and features nightly entertainment.
Guestrooms. All accommodations feature balconies and access via exterior corridors. Cable television is standard and in room safes protect valuables. Child care is available in room.
Expert Tip. Water taxis are available at the marinas and offer wonderful day trips to locations not accessible by land. The trip to Yelapa is one of the most interesting, with a 45 meter waterfall, several beachside restaurants and friendly locals.
