Guests can relax at the resorts Kai Belt� Spa with shiatsu and hot stone massages, warm oil and herbal wraps, and yoga. The resorts hillside Piti Piton features panoramic Caribbean views, candlelit ambience and treetop seating, and serves steamed mahi mahi, rack of lamb, pan seared kingfish, and chicken breasts stuffed with goat cheese. The open air, beachfront Trou au Diable specializes in salads, sandwiches, rotis, and Italian and Creole foods.

Secluded among tropical foliage on the beach or in the hills, the resorts 49 guestrooms offer terra cotta tile or hardwood floors, and furniture made from local mahogany, teak, breadfruit, greenheart and purpleheart woods and West Indian madras cloth. Accommodations also include locally made straw rugs, pottery, carved wood decorations and art, and yellow ceiling bulbs that cast soft light from underneath wicker shades.

Ceiling fans and windows cool the Anse Chastanet Resort guestrooms. Televisions, radios, clocks and telephones are confined to the main building, so guests can relax without modern intrusions.

There are approximately 100 stairs leading from beach level to mid hillside level, making the property unsuitable for those with walking difficulties or cardiac problems. A complimentary shuttle from beachside to hillside level is provided on request.

No shopping and dining venues are in the immediate area around the hotel but guests can taxi into Soufri�re (fare is $26 $35 USD) or into the town of Castries (fare is more than $36 USD.) Public buses can be used around the island for fares less than $5 USD. Driving is not recommended for those unaccustomed to driving on the left side of narrow, winding, mountainous roads. Ferries cross Rodney Bay to Pigeon Island for less than $5 USD and travel from the island to Martinique, Dominica, and Guadeloupe for return fares of more than $36 USD.
