Nestling in the Wildsch�nau valley, south of the Emperor Mountains, Hotel Bergland is 900 metres from the centre of Oberau and 1 kilometre from the ski lifts and slopes. The chalet style hotels 36 guestrooms are decorated in a traditional Tyrolean fashion with dark wood panelling and include balconies, cable TV, radios and telephones. The all inclusive room rate includes a buffet breakfast, packed lunch and three course evening meal served in typically Tyrolean surroundings along with afternoon coffee and cake, beer, wine and soft drinks.
Guests receive a local visitors card which allows use of the ski bus, connecting the three ski areas of Oberau, Niederau and Auffach where there is a total of 46 kilometres of piste, 13 kilometres suitable for beginner skiers, 29 kilometres for intermediate skiers and four kilometres for advanced skiers. Guests can have three complimentary sessions per week in the sauna and steam bath and there is also a solarium for which an extra fee is required. Guests can relax on the sun terrace or the armchairs in the sitting room and enjoy a drink in the bar and TV lounge. There is a ski storage room and parking at the hotel is free. Innsbruck Airport is 75 kilometres away and approximately 60 minutes from the resort by car.
