Set in a restored 15th century manor house, the rustic Hotel Capela das Artes is situated 200 metres from the Moorish village of Alcantarilha and three kilometres from the nearest beach. The 30 air conditioned guestrooms feature cool limed walls, terracotta tiled floors, beds carved from Portuguese Chestnut wood and wrought iron chandeliers.
