Getting there. Taxis to the city centre cost approximately 20 EUR. The Alibus shuttle leaves every 30 minutes for Piazza Municipio and Naples central station (Stazione Centrale). Tickets cost 3 EUR. There are buses to Sorrento. Hydrofoils and ferries sail to Sorrento from Naples Port (at the bottom of Piazza Municipio). Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Trains, buses, and ferries run throughout the area. Roads can be busy, and ferry service to coastal destinations is often the fastest option. Driving a car is not recommended in Naples. A car is recommended for exploring further afield.
