A lodge style building, with wooden, exterior corridors providing access to its two upper floors, the Campanile Leeuwarden is conveniently located 500 metres from the motorway, 1.5 kilometres from the centre of Leeuwarden, a historic town set amidst the canals and lakes of northern Netherlands. The nearest airport is Amsterdam Schiphol, 150 kilometres and approximately a two hour journey away. There is a railway station in the terminals central hall, under Schiphol Plaza. Direct trains run between there and Leeuwarden. Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall. Public buses also run regularly to Amsterdam and other cities.
