Location. Set in a landscape of terraced rice paddies and tropical forest, Royal Pita Maha is located in Ubud, Indonesia. The hotel is one and one half kilometers from Ubud Centre, Ubud Market and Museum Puri Lukisan, and two kilometers from the popular Monkey Forest.

The Monkey Forest is a small natural reserve that hosts three troops of gray monkeys that are terrific photographic subjects. However, the monkeys can be aggressive and bad tempered.
