Furnished by local craftsmen, decorated with artworks by local contemporary artists and surrounded by its own extensive gardens, the Hotel Il Querceto Dorgali lies among the oak forests of the Gennargentu natural park. The 20 modern guestrooms feature whitewashed walls, solid walnut furniture and hand woven carpets. The surrounding forests, canyons and mountains are ideal for trekking, both on foot, or by jeep, while kayaking and hang gliding are also available, both within five kilometers of the hotel. Cagliari Airport (CAG Elmas) is 208 kilometers from the hotel. A bus runs between the airport and Nuoro, from where the hotel can organize pick ups.
