Distance to Kempinski Amman is 45 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available from outside Arrivals. A fare to the hotel is typically 18 JOD and journey time is approximately 45 minutes. Ensure that the meter is switched on when you depart. The hotel can also arrange transfers to and from the airport for a surcharge.
Getting around. Amman is compact and easily negotiated on foot. Taxis are metered and relatively inexpensive. White taxis are the cheapest, but yellow taxis are more plentiful, and slightly more expensive. Government run public buses operate throughout the city centre. Women should be careful when travelling alone. Trains run from Amman to Damascus and Syria twice a week.

Take the Wadi Saqra Road and pass four sets of traffic lights until reaching the Shmeisani area.
