Getting there. Taxis are available directly to the George Hotel and cost about 35 GBP. Manchester Airport train station is linked to all terminals by a moving walkway. Every hour, up to six trains leave the airport for Manchester Piccadilly station in central Manchester. A single ticket costs 2.65 GBP, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. From Manchester train station, take a train to Stoke on Trent. From Stoke on Trent, taxis are readily available and cost about 6 GBP to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The town of Burslem is compact and easily explored on foot. Stoke on Trent operates pink, white, and blue buses throughout the area. Cycling is popular for exploring the area.

At the roundabout, take the first exit onto A500 North heading to Stoke on Trent.
Take the A527 exit.
At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A527/Porthill Rd.
Continue on the A527.
At the roundabout, take the second exit onto B5051/Newcaste St, and follow Newcastle St.
At the roundabout, take the first exit onto B5051/Newcastle St. and follow the B5051.
