FURNISHINGS HAVE BEEN CAREFULLYSELECTED FOR EACH ROOM TO FIT THE STYLE, SIZE AND AMBIANCEOF THAT ROOM. MOST OF THE FURNISHINGS ARE MUSEUM QUALITYWITH PREFERENCE FOR AMERICAN ANTIQUES FROM 1800 THROUGH1890. THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF THE DESIGN, FURNISHING,DECORATING AND SERVICES FOR GUESTS IS TO RECREATE THEEXPERIENCE ONE WOULD HAVE HAD IF THEY HAD BEEN THEINDIVIDUAL GUESTS OF THE PARKES AT THE TURN OF THECENTURY.
