The Galo Resort Hotel Calheta is located on the golden sands of Calheto beach, set against the picturesque backdrop of the lush green Madeiran mountains. This five floor hotel features 114 air conditioned guestrooms decorated in modern, Madeiran style with white walls and tiled floors. All open onto balconies with sea or land views, and include cable television, minibars, safes, and hair dryers.

Funchal Airport is 35 kilometres away, around 45 minutes by car.
