Distance to the Grande Albergo Sole is 30 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes drive.
Getting there. Trains run every 20 60 minutes from the airport to Palermos central station (Stazione Centrale). Single tickets cost 4.50 EUR. A bus runs to Stazione Central and single tickets cost 5 EUR. There are also bus services to Sciacca, Ribera, Trapani, and Agrigento. Taxis are available and cost approximately 45 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Palermo city centre is compact and best explored on foot. The city and the surrounding areas are served by a network of buses. A car is recommended for exploring more of Sicily.
Driving directions. From the airport, take the A29 to Palermo and exit for Corso Calatafimi.
Continue until reaching Porta Nuova.
Cross Corso Via Emanuele until reaching Quattro Canti.
