The Gold Beach Hotel is a modern whitewashed, beachfront resort, located in the west coast village of Flic en Flac, 10 kilometres from Port Louis. The hotels 31 air conditioned guestrooms have simple decor with wood floors and traditional wood furnishings. All offer balconies with beach or gardens views, satellite television, direct dial phones, safes and Internet access (surcharge). Bathrooms have makeup mirrors and hair dryers.

Souillac, 15 kilometres from the hotel, is a place of natural beauty, and the Seven Coloured Earth at Chamarel, 20 kilometres away, is a well known geological curiosity that is worth a visit. Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is 43 kilometres (27 miles) from the hotel, a 60 minute drive.
