Location. The Hotel De La Bretesche is located in Missillac, France, within 500 acres of lush parkland and 10 kilometres from the town of La Roche Bernard.
Hotel Features. Set beside a lake, the Hotel De La Bretesche is housed in a majestic 15th century chateau. The spa offers massage, aromatherapy, a hammam and a heated indoor pool. There is also a heated outdoor pool, open between May and September.
The hotel has two restaurants on site. The gastronomic Le Montaigu has a Michelin star and offers French cuisine with vegetarian and childrens dishes available. The restaurant overlooks the lake. The Le Club brasserie offers lighter lunch options in an informal setting.
The Hotel de La Bretesche offers five south facing conference rooms, the largest holding a maximum of 120 persons. Complimentary high speed and wireless Internet access is available.
Golfers can make use of the onsite 18 hole golf course and driving range. There are two tennis courts and the hotels spacious grounds are ideal for cycling and leisurely strolls. La Baule beach is 35 kilometres from the hotel where jet skiing and windsurfing activities are available.

Expert Tip. The town of Guerande is 30 kilometres from the hotel and sits within medieval city walls. It produces some of the purest sea salt in the world. Covered entirely in salt pans, the Presquile de Guerande peninsular is considered one of Frances natural treasures.
