Location. The Canadian Rocky Mountains provide the backdrop for the Windtower Lodge and Suites, located in the natural wonderland of Canmore, Alberta. Located just five miles (8 kilometers) from Banff National Park and eight miles (12 kilometers) from Lake Minnewanka, Windtower Lodge and Suites has easy access to local activities year round. Winter activities include downhill or cross country skiing, ice fishing and snowshoeing. Area summer activities include golfing mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting or horseback riding.
Hotel Features. Windtower Lodge and Suites provides a complimentary mountain buffet breakfast for two every morning. On site amenities include heated underground parking, barbeque grills in the picnic area and fitness facilities. This hotel offers 1,200 square feet of meeting space with catering from the propertys own Bonjour Bistro, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and featuring a mountain view patio.
Guestrooms. The Windtower Lodge and Suites offers the choice of condo style suites or standard hotel rooms. Suites have separate living and dining areas, and are equipped with fireplaces, dial up Internet access and washers and dryers. Fully equipped kitchens are also included in the suites, and have coffeemakers, dishwashers, microwave ovens and refrigerators. The suites have one queen bed per bedroom, a pullout sofa bed and private balcony with mountain views. Standard hotel rooms have cable television, dial up Internet access and a coffeemaker. A writing desk is also included.
