From Ben Gurion International Airport, Tel Aviv (TLV):
Distance to Prima Tiberias is approximately 135 kilometres, about two hours drive.
Getting there. Taxis wait at Level G, Terminal 3, and cost approximately 125 USD to Tiberias. Travellers are advised to use registered taxi companies only. Trains run between the airport and Haifa. Get off at Lev Ha Mifratz station, which is adjacent to Ha Mifratz bus station, and take the number 430 bus from here to Tiberias. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Sherut (shared) taxis are popular for exploring Israel. Fares are about 5 NIS per person, and the minibuses accommodate up to 10 passengers. A car is useful for visiting the Galilee region. Frequent ferries cross Lake Tiberias.
Driving directions. From the Ben Gurion airport take route 1 towards Tel Aviv.
Exit the highway at the Glilot exit and drive north towards Haifa.
Turn right on the Zichron Yaacov interchange and drive east towards the Golani junction.
Continue toward Tiberias.
