The five star Kempinski San Lawrenz Resort & Spa is built from local yellow limestone, designed to resemble traditional Maltese hunting lodges, with its arched windows and small balconies. The hotel is located three kilometres from the Dwejra coastline and the Azure Window (a giant rock arch in the cliffs), and five kilometres from Victoria, the capital of Gozo. Guestrooms have cool stone walls and dark wood furniture, giving an overall rustic feel. The hotel is set in over 30,000 square meters of lush tropical gardens, complete with date palms, bright flowers and two outdoor pools. The Garden Gazebo and Poolbars offers refreshing drinks and poolside cuisine; there are also two pool bars, a cafe and lounge with a sundown cocktail terrace and fine pastries on the menu, as well as 24 hour room service. The hotel also offers services including babysitting, the Gozo Kids Club, Internet caf�, dive center and a courtesy bus to Dwejra, Ramla and Victoria. The airport is on the neighbouring island of Malta, from where guests can arrange transfers to the hotel by limousine, ferry or helicopter.
