Getting there. Taxis into the city centre cost approximately 15 EUR 16 EUR, and the journey time is 15 minutes. An airport bus departs for Florences Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Terravision coaches travel to central Florence and Pisa Airport. Tickets cost 12 EUR, and the price includes a one day pass for Florences city buses. Getting around. The Della Signoria hotel is on Via Delle Terme, 50 metres from the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Florence is compact and easily explored on foot. Take the A1 motorway and exit for Firenze Certosa.
Follow signs to the centre until Porta Romana.
Drive along Via Romana and then Via Maggio.
After the traffic lights, cross the bridge and, after 50 metres, reach Piazza S Trinita.
Theres a high column in the middle.
Turn right before the column.
