The Palace Hotel is a striking five story Art Deco building located next to the beach in the coastal town of Noordwijk aan Zee, 35 kilometers from Amsterdam. Each floor of the hotel follows a different design scheme and the 120 guestrooms are decorated accordingly. The layout of each room is dictated by the Art Deco design of the building with its many turrets and unusual rooflines. Amsterdam Schiphol airport is 20 kilometers from the hotel. The hotel operates a shuttle service to and from the airport for a fee. Alternatively, there is a railway station in the terminals central hall, under Schiphol Plaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Central Station approximately every 15 minutes. Schiphol Tr avel Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall. Public buses also r un regularly to Amsterdam and other cities. The easiest way to get to the Pa lace Hotel from Schiphol is by taxi.
