Hotel Features. Built in 1919, this eight storey listed property has a shady portico extending around the bottom floor and many period features. Distance to Ringhotel Residenz is 80 kilometres, approximately 55 minutes drive.
Getting there. The S Bahn commuter trains run between Terminal One and Stuttgarts central train station (Hauptbahnhof). Trains S 2 and S 3 leave every 10 20 minutes for the city centre. The journey time is about 25 minutes, and the fare is 3 EUR. From Stuttgart, trains run to Karlsruhe. Taxis wait in front of terminals One and Three, and cost around 115 EUR to Ringhotel Residenz. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Karlsruhe has an excellent public transportation system with buses and trams running throughout the city. Day passes can be purchased to cover individuals or multiple passengers.
Driving directions. From the airport join the A8 highway in the direction of Karlsruhe/Singen/Heilbronn.
Continue for approximately 75 kilometres, then take Exit 45 in the direction of KA Mitte/Karlsruhe/Landau.
After two kilometres turn onto the L561 to Karlsruhe.
Follow signs towards Stadtgarten Zoo/Hauptbahnhof.
