From Hamburg International Airport (HAM):
Distance to Hotel Kieferneck is 90 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes drive.
Getting there. The hotel offers transfers from the airport (surcharge). Yellow Airport Express buses run every 20 minutes from Terminals 1 and 4 to Hamburgs central station (Hauptbahnhof). Single tickets cost 5 EUR and the journey takes 30 minutes. From here take the train in the direction of Uelzen and alight at Bad Bevensen for the hotel. A taxi directly from the airport typically costs around 150 EUR.
Getting around. Bad Bevensen can be explored on foot but a car is advisable for travelling further afield.
Driving directions. From Hamburg International Airport:
Take the A7/Norderstedt in the direction of Schnelsen/Nord.
Continue to Maschener Kreuz.
Take the A250 in the direction of Luneburg.
A few kilometres before Luneburg, the A250 becomes the B4.
Take the B4 to Rote Schleuse.
From here, head in the direction of Uelzen for approximately 25 kilometres to Seedorfer Kreuz.
Turn right to Bad Bevensen and drive straight on.
At the first set of traffic lights, go straight over.
At the second lights, turn left on Dahlenburger Strasse.
Drive for about 700 metres and turn right into Fuhrenkamp at the second crossing.
Take the next turning on the left and then turn right, following signs for the hotel.
