Distance to Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh Resort is 10 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes drive.
Getting there. Regular taxis and tourist taxis (which charge double the fare) wait outside the terminal. Minibuses also go to Sharm el Sheikh, but only leave once full. There are several car rental offices in the terminal.
Getting around. Taxis are an inexpensive way to get around. There are fixed prices in place for various destination, but the price should always be agreed before setting off. A local bus runs between the Naama bay and the old town and stops on request. Solitary trips into the Sinai desert are not recommended, and should be booked with a guided group.
