Distance to Hotel Arcangelo is 30 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes drive.
Getting there. The Leonardo Express train leaves the airport every 30 minutes for Romes Termini train station. A single ticket costs 9.50 EUR, and the journey takes 35 minutes. From Termini station, take the Underground line A to Lepanto Station or Ottaviano Musei Vaticani Station, both a short walk fro the hotel. The Terravision shuttle bus also runs to Termini station. A taxi to the city centre should cost approximately 60 EUR; it is recommended travellers take a licensed metered taxi only. Prices are subject to change. Hotel Arcangelo also offers airport transfers for a fee.
Getting around. The historic city centre is easy to negotiate on foot with many attractions clustered together. Romes efficient integrated public transport network consists of buses, trams, metro (underground) and suburban trains. Tickets should be bought before boarding and are available from ATAC ticket machines and all tobacconists. A single ticket costs �1, is valid for 75 minutes, and covers unlimited bus journeys and one metro trip. Driving is not recommended for visitors.
