Guestrooms. There are 28 self catering rooms built over four floors decorated in pale colours complemented by blue, plaid soft furnishings and functional wood furniture. All rooms are serviced daily and comprise a double bedroom, a separate lounge with a sofabed and a kitchen. The bathrooms are fitted with shower/tub combinations and include complimentary designer toiletries, hair dryers and makeup mirrors. Standard amenities include satellite television, minibars, safes, blackout drapes and extra towels, linens and bedding.
Expert Tip. The flea market on Shortmarket Street has been around as a market of one kind or another since 1710. Originally a farmers market, it now offers African crafts, jewellery and curios and is host to a myriad of buskers. Flanked by beautiful buildings including the Old Town House, the best time to head here is on a Saturday morning. After perusing the stalls, head for a drink or bite to eat in one of the many nearby bars, restaurants and cafes.
