Hotel Features. Renovated in 2007, the five storey Hotel Isa (accessible by lift) is a stylish city centre property of traditional design. One of the hotels main features is the roof top garden where guests can relax with stunning views of St. Peters Basilica and surrounding areas. Currency exchange is available at the 24 hour front desk where multilingual staff are able to assist with travel and tourist arrangements. Internet access and parking are available (surcharge).
A complimentary breakfast is served each morning, and drinks and light snacks are available throughout the day in the hotel lounge.
Bicycles and scooters can be hired nearby and there is a public swimming pool in the vicinity.
Guestrooms. Each floor has an individual style, ranging between an intimate decor of dark fabrics and wall coverings to a neo classical style with ornate furnishings. Rooms on the top floor have a much brighter, contemporary feel. All 53 air conditioned guestrooms have televisions, direct dial telephones, safes, minibars and private bathrooms with hair dryers, slippers and bathrobes. In room childcare is available on request.
Expert Tip. The cafeteria at the Vatican Museum has a good selection and is less expensive than many cafes in the area.

Getting there. The COTRAL bus runs between arrivals and the Anagnina metro stop (the final stop on line B) every 40 minutes. Single tickets cost 1 EUR. Licensed white taxis cost around 50 EUR (including airport surcharge) to the city centre. From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):

Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. Taxis to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Romes historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.
