Getting there. Bologna airport is located six kilometres from the central train station. Every 15 minutes, the ATC Aerobus runs to the train station and the city centre. The journey takes 20 minutes and costs 4.50 EUR for a single ticket. Trains run from Bologna train station to Ferrara train station, which is 800 metres from the hotel. Taxis can be found in front of arrivals and cost about 18 EUR to Bologna city centre and 70 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Ferrara is small and compact and easy to explore on foot or by bike, which is how the majority of the locals do it. Trains run from Ferrara to Bologna and beyond.
