The nearest train station is Ceannt Station, which is 3 kilometres (2 miles) from the hotel. The easiest way to explore Galway and the surrounding countryside, as well as the west coast scenery, is to hire a car.
Driving directions: From the airport bear left onto Carnmore West. Turn left onto the R339 and at Lynch Roundabout take the third exit onto the N6. At Galway take the second exit at Morris roundabout onto the N6. At Font roundabout take the first exit onto Tuam Road R336. At Joyce roundabout take the second exit onto Bothermore R336. Turn right onto Eyre Square R336, and turn left onto Victoria Place R336 for Salthill. At the traffic lights continue onto Dock Road, bear left onto Father Griffin Road and cross Wolfe Tone Bridge. At the traffic lights turn right on to Father Griffin Avenue R337. Turn left onto Lower Salthill and continue until the Promenade. The hotel is on the right.
