Getting there. The S Bahns line 5 runs between the airports train station and Hannover central station. Trains depart every 30 minutes between 5 a.m. and midnight. The journey takes about 15 20 minutes, and single tickets cost 2.40 EUR. From the station, ICE trains run direct from Hannover to Bielefeld every hour in a journey time of approximately 50 minutes.
Getting around. Bielefeld has both extensive tram and bus networks. Cycling is also popular in the city, with many cycle lanes and rental stores.
