The Cliff Bay is a modern resort hotel set in subtropical gardens on a clifftop with views over the Atlantic, two kilometres from Funchal town centre. Many of the hotels 201 guestrooms offer impressive sea views and all have private, furnished balconies and marble bathrooms with twin washbasins, hair dryers, bathrobes, and complimentary toiletries. The complex also has a tennis court, while Palheiro Golf Club is 18 kilometres from the hotel. Funchal Airport is 20 kilometres from the hotel, approximately 25 minutes by car.
