Previously the City Hall, the Scandic Swania is a waterfront hotel built in the early 1900s and set by the Trollh�tte canal in the town centre. This hotel features 196 guestrooms with modern Nordic style decor in muted colours, all of which include satellite television with pay movies, minibars, radio alarm clocks, iron and ironing boards, trouser presses, tea and coffee making facilities, and bathrooms with hair dryers.
Guests can enjoy a refreshing dip in the indoor pool and then unwind in the sauna or bronze in the solarium. For those feeling energetic there is an exercise room; all facilities are free of charge for residents. Adults can enjoy snooker in the games room (surcharge) whilst kids are kept entertained in the playroom, and at check in children will receive a surprise gift.
