Location. The Lodge at Steamboat is set at the base of Mount Werner, just two blocks from the Silver Bullet Gondola, in Steamboat Springs, Colo. Summer or winter, Steamboat is the place to be for outdoor recreation. Opportunities exist for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding and of course skiing and snowboarding. Dozens of galleries and almost 70 bars and restaurants are positioned about town, providing plenty of off mountain entertainment. Lincoln Avenue, primarily between Fifth and Ninth Streets, is where most of the more interesting galleries and shops are located.
