Driving Directions:
Bermuda International Airport (BDA): Approximate driving time is 5 minutes and distance is 0.5 miles. Getting there: Rental cars are not allowed by the government but a government licensed shuttle service, Bee Line Transport, meets all flights. Trips to the hotel can be arranged at the Bee Line desk outside the arrivals hall for USD 5 15 per person round trip. (The Bermuda dollar is on par with the US dollar and US dollars are widely accepted.) Metered taxi fare is USD 5 15. Fees subject to change without notice. Public buses pick up near the departures area but do not allow luggage on board.
Shuttle vans or private cars of varying prices are available. They can be selected during the process of booking an air inclusive reservation for this hotel, via this Web site, and added to the total trip cost.
Getting around: For shopping, dining, and entertainment choices beyond this property, guests usually travel to either Hamilton or St. Georges. Bermuda does not allow visitors to rent cars, but it runs a convenient public bus service, popular with both residents and visitors alike. Pink buses stop in front of the hotel and can whisk passengers to St. Georges in about 10 minutes and to downtown Hamilton in about 25 minutes. Single fares are less than USD 5 but a better deal is the bus pass (1 day: USD 5 15 and 3 days: USD 16 25) which is also good for ferry travel. Public ferries leave from the terminal on Front St in Hamilton for Paget, Warwick, Dockyard, St. Georges, Rockaway, and Somerset with most single fares less than USD 5. Fees subject to change without notice. Schedules vary according to season and day of the week. Bicycles can be rented (USD 5 15 a day) although they are second in choice to more popular mopeds (more than USD 36 a day.) Driving is on the left side of the road. The hotel also offers complimentary shuttle service within the grounds of its own property.
