Driving Directions:
Getting there. There is a frequent train service between the airport and Manchester Piccadilly station in the city centre. From here there is a direct train service to Windermere train station, eight miles from the hotel. From Windermere bus number 555 stops outside the hotel. Taxis are available outside the Arrivals hall of each terminal; and cost approximately 100 GBP to the hotel. The airports bus network provides direct services to many local centres, as well as links to other towns and cities. All buses call at the airport bus station located outside Terminal One International Arrivals. The Lake and village of Grasmere can be easily reached on foot. Windermere and Kendal can be reached by local bus, and there are train connections from Windermere and Oxenholme. A car would be recommended to explore the countryside.

Driving directions. From the airport follow signs for the M6 North. Stay on the M6 until Junction 36. Exit for the A591 towards Grasmere. The hotel is on the left once arriving in Grasmere..
