Anassa Hotel

Location.The Hotel Anassa is located in Polis, Cyprus, within 500 metres of its own private beach, three kilometres from Latchi and seven kilometres from the town centre.
Hotel Features. The hotel is built as a typical Greek village and overlooks the ocean. Contemporary in style, it offers two outdoor pools and a Roman style thalassotherapy spa with indoor pool and treatments including retreats, detox programmes and beauty treatments. Other amenities include 24 hour room service, airport transfers (surcharge), express check in and check out and currency exchange.

The Anassa Hotel offers the main Helios restaurant which serves Mediterranean dishes, the Amphora serving a complimentary buffet breakfast and local dishes, and the candlelit Basiliko restaurant with contemporary national cuisine. There is also a poolside bar, lounge bar and a caf�.

Business services include banqueting facilities, conference rooms and secretarial and translation services.

An onsite Padi diving centre provides transfers to the Akamas marine reserve and offers classes. There is also a kids club for children aged 4 to 11. Boats can be hired for self drive trips, and there is jet skiing, parasailing, rafting, canoeing, snorkelling and windsurfing. Nearby activities include golf, horse riding, and scooter rentals.

Guestrooms.The 177 rooms, over three floors, have light decor, marble floors and louvered shutters. All include balconies, bathrobes, climate control, satellite television with pay movies, direct dial telephones, dial up Internet connections, minibars and wake up calls.

Expert Tip. The picturesque port of Latchi is known throughout Cyprus for its fresh fish. Its old stone warehouses have been converted into restaurants and taverns, but the town retains its sleepy charm and the impact of tourism on it is negligible. While sampling the local fishy delights, dont forget to check out the wine, including Commandaria, a sweet dessert wine reputedly enjoyed by Richard the Lion Heart.

Driving Directions:
From Paphos Airport (PFO):
Distance to Anassa hotel is 40 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes drive.

Getting there. Taxis are available from outside the airport and cost about 33 CYP to the hotel. A local bus runs between the airport and central Paphos. The journey time is about 15 25 minutes. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Paphos resort is best explored on foot. Buses run to the islands other towns, but services are limited. The best way to explore Cyprus is by car.

Driving directions.
From Paphos airport follow directions to Paphos.
Once in Paphos follow the signs for Polis.
Continue through the Paphos Mountains, passing through Tsada, Stroumpi and Gioulou.
On approaching Polis follow signs for Latsi and Bath of Aphrodite.
Pass by the village of Prodromi and after approximately four kilometres arrive in Latsi.
Continue beyond Latsi and after approximately three kilometres, turn right towards the Bath of Aphrodite.
After approximately one kilometre the hotel is on the left.
