Location. The Hotel Dunloe Castle is located in Beaufort, Ireland. The town of Killarney, home to the nearest train station, is six kilometres away and Muckross is 15 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Set in 64 acres of mature parkland, including 20 acres of sub tropical garden, the Hotel Dunloe Castle occupies a modern property that features a white fa�ade and a forecourt with a fountain. The grounds also incorporate the ruins of the medieval Dunloe Castle. Facilities include an indoor pool and fitness room, and a sauna and steam room provide relaxation. A concierge is on hand to offer sightseeing assistance. Expert Tip. Ross Castle, 12 kilometres from the hotel, is set on the edge of Killarney National Park and is a typical example of an Irish chieftain stronghold. Built in the late 15th century, the castle was the seat of the ODonaghue clan. Today, visitors are taken on guided tours of the restored tower and 17th century dwelling house.

From Kerry Airport (KIR):
Distance to the Hotel Dunloe Castle is 20 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes drive.

Getting there. The easiest way to reach the hotel from the airport is by taxi.

Getting around. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to Killarney, which can be explored on foot. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding area.

Driving directions. From the airport, turn left and continue into Farranfore.
Turn left, go straight through the village, and continue towards Killarney.
Once in Killarney, take the third exit at the Cleeny Roundabout, turning right onto the N72 towards Killorglin.
Continue straight on, go over the Ballydowney Roundabout, and take the third exit onto the N72 towards Killorglin.
Continue past the Killarney Golf & Fishing Club on the left, and go straight into Fossa Village, passing the Hotel Europe and Fossa Church on the left.
At the end of the village, turn left, following signs for the Hotel Dunloe Castle and the Gap of Dunloe.
Continue for approximately 1.5 kilometres, passing the Dunloe Golf & Driving Range on the left.
