Location. The Hotel Europe is located in the village of Fossa, Ireland, overlooking the lake of Killarney and next to three 18 hole championship golf courses. The hotel is six kilometres from Killarney town centre and railway station, and 30 kilometres from Kerry Airport.
Hotel Features. The modern resort style Hotel Europe is surrounded by acres of grounds, and the spa is one of Irelands largest, with facilities including swimming pools, Finnish saunas, ice caves, steam rooms, and technogym fitness equipment. The 24 hour reception is clad with natural stone and has an open fireplace, and there is wireless Internet access available in public areas. Parking is complimentary.
The Panorama restaurant at Hotel Europe offers international dishes and boasts views of the lake. The Brasserie serves lighter meals, with al fresco dining optional, and a daily full Irish breakfast buffet is complimentary. Aperitifs and champagne can be enjoyed in the intimate Crystal Bar, named for its decor of hand cut Irish crystal.
Hotel Europe has a dedicated conference centre which is equipped for meetings and presentations.
Boating and fishing are available from the hotels own private pier on the lake, and the Hotel Europe offers an indoor tennis court, riding on its own Haflinger ponies, a childrens playground and acres of ground to explore. Killarney Golfing and Fishing Club is next to the hotel with three 18 hole courses, and there are six other golf courses nearby.
Guestrooms. The 188 guestrooms at Hotel Europe are decorated in warm colours with modern furniture. All have dial up Internet connections, safes, direct dial phones, desks, and minibars. Bathrooms have baths with separate showers, hair dryers, bathrobes, and slippers. Rooms have views of the gardens and golf course or the lake.
