Getting there. There are taxi stands in front of the terminal. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs 45 EUR. Rostock Hauptbahnhof train station is four kilometres from the hotel. There is a regular bus shuttle service to Rostock connecting with departures and arrivals of scheduled flights.
Getting around. The centre of Rostock is compact, flat and easy to explore on foot. A car is recommended for travelling further afield.
Driving directions. From Rostock Laage Airport:
Follow the A19, exiting at Rostock Sued.
Drive towards the city centre on the B110 and follow signs for Rostocker Hof.
Continue driving along August Bebel Strasse following signs for Zoo/Stadthaller/Sudstadt/Centrum.
Turn right by the DGB Union building into Herrmann Strasse.
This becomes Schwaansche Strasse and the hotel is on the right hand side.
