The La Posada de Albuquerque is a historic Spanish style hotel located in downtown Albuquerque, just one block from the Albuquerque Convention Center. It is strategically located five miles from Albuquerque International Airport.
An original Hilton hotel built in 1939 under Conrad Hiltons direction, the hotels unique and historic atmosphere deems it a museum in itself. Elaborate Moorish brass and mosaic tiled fountain, hand crafted circular balcony, mammoth vigas and Native American murals adorn the interior of the La Posada de Albuquerque.
Historic rooms are fashioned with southwestern detail and furnishings made by local artisans from hand carved wooden headboards, to Pueblo Indian rugs draped across painted plaster walls. All guestrooms allow guests to step back in history while keeping the comforts of the 21st century technology.
