Distance to Hotel Perlach is 30 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes drive.
Getting there. The airports train station is located between the two terminals on the basement level. The S8 train leaves every 20 minutes for Munichs main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Journey time is approximately 45 minutes, and single tickets cost 8.80 EUR. Tickets must be validated prior to travelling. Alternatively, take the number 55 bus in the direction of Waldperlach, getting off at Pfanzeltplatz, directly in front of Hotel Perlach. Taxis to the hotel cost approximately 30 EUR. Getting around. Much of Munichs city centre is pedestrianised and best explored on foot. The citys integrated public transport system includes buses, trams, S Bahn commuter trains, and U Bahn underground trains. Tickets cover all modes of public transport. Taxis wait at ranks around the city, but can be expensive. Trains run from the Hauptbahnhof to other German towns and the Bavarian countryside.
