Location. The Metropolitan Hotel is an independently owned and operated hotel located in downtown Toronto, Canada. It is located close to the financial district and internationally renowned art galleries and museums. The Eaton Centre is just a few blocks away while designer shopping at Bloor Street is within walking distance of the hotel. The Art Gallery of Ontario is one block away and three blocks from the Royal Ontario Museum, which houses an impressive collection of international art, especially its Chinese collection. Torontos main entertainment and club district begins three blocks south of the hotel and the harbor front is five blocks away.

The restaurant is set on two levels and enclosed by a solarium style glass wall, displaying an original collection of Chinese calligraphy by Southeast Asian artist Cheung Ming.
