Location. The Belle Epoque inspired Hotel De la Ville in central Milan, Italy, is within 50 metres of the Duomo and 200 metres of Via Montenapoleones designer shops. The hotel is 400 metres from the financial district. Milan Linate Airport is 15 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. From a peaceful side street, guests enter the Hotel De la Villes ornate lobby, which has an elaborate vaulted ceiling, paintings and wood panelled tables. Multilingual concierge and 24 hour front desk staff are on hand.

Traditional Italian cuisine is served at the Hotel De la Villes a la carte LOpera restaurant. Dishes include lobster with thyme flavoured chick peas. The wood panelled Il Visconteo Bar in the lobby offers liqueurs, wines and beers, while the relaxed first floor Oyster Bar is open for aperitifs and lunch. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served in the 120 seat breakfast room next to the restaurant.

Getting there. A taxi to central Milan costs about 15 EUR 20 EUR. An airport shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes to Milans Stazione Centrale (central station). The fare is 3 EUR for a single ticket. The number 73 bus leaves every 10 minutes from outside arrivals and runs to San Babila station on Milans underground metro system. The fare is 1 EUR for a single ticket. The hotels closest metro station is Duomo, 50 metres away. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The hotel is on Via Ulrico Hoepli, 50 metres from the Duomo. The city centre is easy to explore on foot, and there are pedestrianised areas around the Duomo. A comprehensive network of trams, buses and four metro lines offers efficient travel throughout the city. Integrated tickets for all modes of public transport can be purchased at newsagents, metro stations, tobacconists and most coffee bars. Driving is not recommended in Milans city centre. There are many one way streets, traffic is heavy and parking is limited. Cars parked illegally are towed or fined. The hotel offers parking (surcharge).

Take Viale Forlanni to the Corso XXI Marzo.
Continue onto Piazza 5 Giornat, Corso di Porta Vittoria and Visconti de Modrone.
