Public buses travel from the airport to Piazzale Roma, 500 metres from the hotel. The vaporetto (water bus) system connects the major islands of the lagoon (Murano, Burano, the Lido and Torcello) with the historic centre of Venice. Vaporetti 1 and 82 travel the Grand Canal from Piazzale di Roma to St Marks Square. Beyond water travel, walking is an easy way to explore Venice.
